Culture and arts
Calligraphy
A calm and focused time to restore inner balance. Learn from the basics with the Chihara Shogei-kai textbook, with support for rank certification, brush pens, and penmanship.
Sutra Copying
Spend a quiet early morning in the shrine grounds copying the more than 260 characters of the Heart Sutra to cultivate concentration and peace of mind.

Sanshin
Learn the warm and soothing sound of the sanshin, beloved by many. Beginners are welcome to experience the soul sound of the Ryukyus.
Ryukyu Dance
Learn from the basics of stance and hand movement, with the goal of being able to dance one full piece even as a beginner. The course also introduces etiquette while building graceful posture and expression.
Classical Hula
Study traditional Hawaiian culture through chants about mythology, history, and stories, together with dance set to percussion rhythms.
Music and expression
Okinogu Gagaku Club
Enjoy the sounds of ancient court music. Choose from sho, hichiriki, or ryuteki and learn one of these traditional instruments.
Voice Training with Recording Sessions
Train with songs you love while experiencing real recording sessions. Listening back to your own voice helps you improve more quickly.
Health and martial arts
Karate Kagura Club
A course built on the idea that karate leads to prayer, using karate to cultivate basic etiquette and spirit.
Self-Defense for Women
Learn practical protective awareness and self-defense from one of Japan’s leading instructors in Filipino martial arts. Anyone can enjoy participating regardless of martial arts experience.
Yoga Stretch for Posture and Breath
Turn the senses inward from daily life and practice stretching and mental training through deep breathing.
Honeybee Therapy
Experience a traditional therapy using honeybee stings.

Ballroom Dance
